Just like the pillow cover itself it has a zipper on the back.
The top part of the pillowcase (where your face rests) is very soft.
The tag says 50% polyester and 50% cotton.
I washed it before using it and it didn't shrink.
Machine wash cold,tumble dry and bleach when necessary is allowed.
