In percale the yarns are woven in one over one, unlike Sateen where it's four over one. The one over one (percale) weave create a much even, stronger, denser & softer fabric, which can stand the test of time and gets better and better feel the more you wash it. Finally, this superior weave, woven in the best authentic way is done using the best cotton in the world. Egyptian cotton has the longest fibers.That is, when you pull the cotton from the cotton plant and remove the seeds and waxes, Egyptian cotton has longer fibers available for spinning into yarn than other cottons.

(More customer reviews)I was skeptical for the price and the few reviews that stated they were rough and not soft enough. Got them a week ago. Pulled out of the package and thought WOW, what were people talking about being scratchy. Washed with softner anyway but don't think really needed.. They are SOOOOOOO nice. Yes, they do wrinkle (ALOT), but didn't bother me and once on the bed smoothed out. We have a temperpedic and they fit great with ample room for the fitted if you have a deep pocket bed. The top sheet is nice and long, tucked it way under the bed. We always have used flannel year round for the softness. So trust me, I was leary. They are so soft. I love crawling into bed. Think I'll go take a nap right now! LOL. I feel they are well worth every penny and will be buying another set!!! Got the cafe' color and it is "golder" in color then the image on my PC. Worked great for me though. Big time recommend.

(More customer reviews)These sheets are very comfy, even right out of the packaging they have a very smooth, sof texture. They have a satin finished appearance, but neverfeel"slick". After washing them and sleeping a few nights on them I am very pleased with them and would definitely purchase more of these in the future and would recomend them to others. I would have given them a five star review, but I'v only had the a few days and have no idea how durable they will be long term.

These cotton cases are much softer and are far nicer quality than either poly-cotton or muslin cotton (below 200 thread count).Size 22"x36" fits a queen size pillow perfectly but this size is regularly used with standard pillows by tucking the extra few inches back into itself for a very clean look.
